70th San Sebastian Festival: Would you like to meet Penélope Cruz or Ricardo Darín?

Are you ready to experience the magic of cinema in one of the most beautiful cities in Spain? From September 16 to 24, Donostia - San Sebastian will be transformed into the epicenter of the seventh art with the celebration of the 70th edition of the San Sebastian Film Festival. This unique event gives you the opportunity to see stars such as Penélope Cruz, Ricardo Darín, Juliette Binoche and many more, who have already confirmed their attendance.

Featured stars and films

This year, the festival is dressed to the nines with the presence of international luminaries such as Juliette Binoche, who will be honored with the Donostia Award, and Liam Neeson, who stars in the closing film "Marlowe". In addition, Penélope Cruz and Ricardo Darín, among others, are expected to participate.

The film "Modelo 77" by Alberto Rodríguez, a prison drama set in the 1970s, will have the honor of opening the festival. On the other hand, the closing ceremony promises to be equally exciting with "Marlowe", a detective story with a stellar cast.

In the Official Selection, 17 feature films will compete for the Golden Shell. Among them are "Le lycéen" by Christophe Honoré, "The Wonder" by Sebastián Lelio, and "Walk Up" by Hong Sangsoo. In addition, Spanish cinema will have a strong representation with four productions aspiring to the top award.
