Chillida Lantoki: Eduardo Chillida's Industrial Legacy

One of the highlights of our tour is the Chillida Lantoki, a museum that pays tribute to the Basque sculptor Eduardo Chillida and his close relationship with the industrial field. Chillida collaborated with the forge of the Patricio Echeverría factory in Legazpi, as well as with Sidenor in Reinosa (Cantabria), where some of his most iconic works were shaped. The museum, located in the old Legazpi paper mill, allows us to delve into the intricacies of industrial production and appreciate the fusion between art and metallurgy.

Igartubeiti Farmhouse: pre-industrial treasure

The Igartubeiti Farmhouse is a heritage jewel that takes us back to pre-industrial times. Here, history comes to life through the traditional architecture and the activities that were carried out in the Basque farmhouses. During your visit, you can participate in a guided tour (by appointment) to explore the secrets of this place. You will also have the opportunity to make your own apple juice, an authentic experience that connects with our roots. Don't forget to visit the Interpretation Center, where you will discover how local production has shaped our identity over the centuries.
