From the beginning, we set out to be more than just a hotel in San Sebastian; we aspire to be a benchmark in sustainability. We adopted circularity in waste management, Km0 purchasing criteria and we encourage responsible consumption. Geothermal and photovoltaic energy, together with 100% renewable contracted energy, are pillars of our energy infrastructure. In addition, our Zero paper policies and digitalized communication through QR codes reflect our commitment to sustainable innovation.
Bilibin's Zero Skan methodology has been key in our strategy to achieve Zero Waste. Thanks to it, we have optimized our purchasing policy and improved efficiency in the use of resources. The result has been a significant reduction in waste and in our carbon footprint, something we are very proud of.
